At Megan Bertsch Beauty, I’m passionate about helping you to feel authentically at your best by enhancing your natural radiance through makeup. After spending nearly a decade in the makeup industry working for others, I launched MB Beauty to celebrate what it feels like to embrace your authentic self and the beauty that makes every person unique.
Whether you’re obsessed with all things beauty (like me!) and feel a connection with my art and style, or you’re simply seeking a glamorous and clean look for photos or a special day in your life, I’m so excited that you’re here.
ABOUT
Forever a student
I started my career going to fine arts school for painting. I worked at a makeup store at the time and realized I loved painting faces even more than canvases. So I left my hometown of Sioux Falls, and ran away to Minneapolis to complete the Faces Etc. makeup artist training program and my makeup career was born! I'm also a licensed esthetician, have a business degree from SDSU, and may have spent a semester in Paris learning French and drinking wine. If that wasn't enough, I've attended makeup master classes in Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto and more to come. To me, education is everything!
Typical Midwest Millennial
Oops, I'm actually exactly like other girls. I love coffee, reading, traveling, thrifting, going to brunch and taking the occasional zumba class. As much as I love to visit big cities, I enjoy my quiet little life right in historic downtown Sioux Falls with my almost-fiance and sweet little kitty.
I believe in looking good and doing good
I regularly work with local nonprofits such as The Transformation Project and Rare By Design, organizations dedicated to making beauty accessible to everyone. My studio will always be a place where people of all different skintones, pronouns and abilities are celebrated and welcome.
